FBG Sensor Interrogators

FBG sensor is normally analyzed by an optical spectral analyzer or optical sensing interrogator, which normally has 1-4 channels.  For most of sensing applications, a 4-channel optical sensing interrogator will be sufficient. Otherwise, a multi-channel system or an optical multiplexer has to be required for more than 4 fiber sensing cables. Boston Instruments' FBG sensors are based on wavelength-division-multiplexing technology. The offered FBG sensor interrogator is a 4-channel design with a bandwidth of 1Hz, 5Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz to 5kHz. It is due to such high bandwidth, it is more suitable for analyzing dynamic thermal profile, dynamic strain, dynamic pressure, and acoustic sensors with Boston Instruments' ThermoLine™, ThermoSurf™, PresoLine™, AcousoLine™, and StrainLine™ sensors.
